AOD Server Rules
posted 04/05/08
1 - NO BITCHING!
This means no whining, and complaining about the server, the players on the server, how you die or who is killing you too much etc, or ANYTHING! This rule will be stringently reinforced. Whining will get you a 2 minute kick, coming back and complaining about it will get you a 2 hour ban, and repeat offences may result in a permanent ban, AOD or not.
Admins will warn - mute – kick - ban
2 - Spawn Killing is allowed!
If you don’t like this, see rule 1
3 - No Griefing.
Griefing is doing things for the sole purpose of annoying your teammates or other players on the server. Examples of this are: running on planted land mines, blocking people or doors, blocking panzer or mortar shots to kill your teammates, pushing teammates off ledges or spamming the chat with vsays and/or binds. We are all here to have fun, so respect everyone.
Admins will warn - mute - kick. Repeat offences may result in a ban.
4 - Foul/Explicit/Abusive language.
The server will automatically mute individuals for 30 seconds for swearing. Furthermore, individuals who repeatedly use unnecessary, explicit or abusive language may be muted or worse by an admin.
Admins will warn - mute - kick. Repeat offences may result in a ban.
5. No /Killing
/Killing robs your opponent of XP and just generally annoys the hell out of everyone so dont do it.
Admins will warn - mute - kick. Repeat offences may result in a ban.
6 - No Cheating.
This should go without saying. Anyone caught cheating on any AOD Server will be immediately and permanently banned by an admin without any warning given.
In all instances Admins will attempt to warn a player first unless the offence warrants more direct and immediate action.
If you see an AOD admin abusing their powers (Eg. Using !kick, !mute etc. unfairly), then please by all means report it by posting on the Clan forums with a screenshot if possible or contact one of the forum adminstrators.
If you are muted on the server and wish to be have the mute lifted visit our forums and ask politely.
These Rules may be revised at any time.
